چکیده

Abstract Due to technological developments in last decade, new methods of seismic evaluation are use like simulation based, algorithm probabilistic, software based etc. These have enabled researchers move from linear non-linear analysis. Incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) is performance method where a suite ground motions applied structure further scaled particular levels intensity. Seismic fragility curves become significant estimation structures risk possibility the point view potential earthquakes and helps predicting economic consequences for forthcoming earthquakes. The paper reflects IDA storey + 7 floor (G 7) reinforced concrete frame subjected eleven motions. Primary objective was perform equivalent static linear-dynamic meet National International codal requirements. Then, pushover carried out by introducing parametric auto hinges as per ASCE 41-13 tables. To carry analysis, both geometric material non-linearity introduced. Strong were selected suitable criteria then SeismoStruct 2022 using curves, out. results study found useful predict probability damage under

Seismic Performance Analysis of FRP Reinforced Concrete Frame Structure

Based on the experimental study for seismic performance of FRP reinforced concrete beam-column joints, two-storey two-span plane frames were taken for examples, in which the static elastoplastic analysis (the pushover method) was carried on the joints of the FRP strengthened concrete frames, and then the comparative analysis was made on seismic performance of RFP strengthened frame structure th...

A SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS FOR ENHANCING IDA EFFICIENCY IN FRAGILITY ANALYSIS OF 3D REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES

Due to several uncertainties  which  affect structural responses of Reinforced concrete (RC) frames,  it is sensibly required  to  apply  a vulnerability analysis tool such as fragility curve. To  construct an analytical fragility curve, the incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) method has been extensively used as an applicable seismic analysis too...

Soil Structure Interaction in the Analysis and Seismic Design of Reinforced Concrete Frame Buildings

The influence of soil-structure interaction in the analysis and design of a 6-storey and basement reinforced concrete frame building is investigated. Models simulating two different conditions: namely soil-structure interaction, and fixed-base behavior are considered. The influence of the soil structure interaction in the dynamic behavior of the structure is reflected in an increase in the vibr...

Seismic Reliability Analysis of Offshore Fixed Platforms Using Incremental Dynamic Analysis

It is generally accepted that performance-based design has to be reliability-based. Seismic performance evaluation is based on nonlinear dynamics and reliability theory taking into account uncertainties during analysis. Considering the economic importance of jacket type offshore platforms, the present research aims to assess the seismic performance of offshore steel platforms. In this study, th...
